Devin Driscoll - Owner/Founder/ President

Devin Driscoll – Owner/Founder/President

Devin Driscoll is the owner and founder of Next Level Training LLC. Devin grew up in Knoxville where he attended Knoxville Catholic High School and graduated in May 2000. While at Catholic Devin lettered in golf and basketball for three years. He was MVP two years, All District, All KIL, and all tournament team.After high school Devin moved onto Fordham University to play golf. After college Devin began a career as a pro wrestler for the World Wrestling Entertainment. Devin became the youngest champion in its developmental ground (OVW) and received many awards in his two year stint with the company.After his career subsided Devin began work at Fort Sanders Fitness Complex as personal trainer and sports and conditioning specialist. While at Fort Sanders Devin co-hosted Wellness Wednesdays for WVLT, was involved with WATE’s Pressure to Perform, had articles written about him in the News Sentinel and Wellness Magazine. Devin opened Next Level in October of 2007. He is currently involved in the NASM Masters Program with a concentration with Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention. He has been training young athletes for over eight years. Devin was nominated as the PFP 2008 Trainer of the Year

Cory McAdams - Director of Athletic Enhancement, Trainer

Cory McAdams – Director of Athletic Enhancement

Cory McAdams is a graduate of Southwest Baptist Univ. While at SBU Cory worked through the rankings from walk-on to full-time starter and lead the Bearcat defense in sacks and tackles for a loss. Off the field Cory set the tempo in the weight room with a school record power clean, 100lb+ increase on bench and almost 200lbs on squats. Cory has been blessed to compete at the collegiate level and knows what it takes to get there. Previous to college Cory was also a stand out soccer and football player in Rome, GA. Cory has been inducted into the Coosa High School Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding performance in soccer during his 4 year stint at Coosa. His diverse knowledge of athletics has allowed him to be capable of working with all athletes. Before joining the Next Level staff as Director of Athletic Enhancement, Cory had the opportunity to work with SEC, ACC, SOCONN, NFL, NHL and a multitude of other strength and conditioning programs. Through these programs he has learned there is an art to training each athlete differently. Aside from the personal training and boot camps, Cory has found a niche in training athletes to perform at levels never thought possible.

Wendy Nicole Hill - Trainer/Head Of KidFit

Wendy Hill joined Next Level after graduating from the University of Tennessee in 2007 with a degree in Exercise Science. Injury prevention was a major focus for UT Athletics, as well as a huge influence for why Wendy became a trainer in athletic performance enhancement. Wendy has worked with a variety of youth sports organizations for 10+ years now and is Head of our FitKid Program. She trains athletes of all sports, but specializes in volleyball, golf, soccer and marathon/triathlon runners.

Jason Messing – Performance Specialist

Jason Messing was born and raised in Knoxville and was a walk-on wide receiver/safety at the University of Tennessee after a good career at Farragut High School. In addition to football, Jason played basketball and ran track while attending Farragut. After his redshirt freshmen year at UT, he transferred to perennial top 5 Division 2 University of North Alabama where he set the single season and career touchdown mark for wide receivers. North Alabama finished in the top 5 3 out of the 4 years he was there and reached the playoffs each year, advancing to the quarterfinals two years and to the semifinals in another. Jason graduated from UNA with a Bachelors of Science in Communications. After a stellar college career and the Division 2 version of the Senior Bowl All-Star Game, Jason continued to pursue a professional football career. He has had try-outs with the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and many other teams where he has consistently ran the 40 yard dash in less than 4.4 seconds by numerous scouts. Jason recently completed a year in the Arena Football League and also finished his fourth year as an instructor for the Chad Pennington Football Camp held locally. Jason specializes in speed, agility, and quickness training for all sports.

Chris Brown – Performance Specialist

Chris Brown joined the Next Level staff in August 2009 after returning to Knoxville from his NFL career. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Chris was an all-district, and all-state performer in both football and basketball at Jesuit High school. Chris attended the University of Tennessee on a football scholarship from 2004-2007. While attending UT, Chris was a four year starter at tight end as well as a captain of the team his senior year. While at UT Chris set the single season record for receptions and tied for touchdowns in a single season by a tight end and is currently third for receptions by a tight end in UT football history. After leaving UT, Chris moved on to have an NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Miami Dolphins. Chris will specialize in on the field football training, such as route running, blocking, catching and understanding the game of football.

Kelly Mathis – Business Manager

Kelly Mathis is a 2005 graduate of Maryville High School. During her basketball career at Maryville High, she was named a Blount County Player of the Year and voted numerous times Player of the Week by the Knoxville News Sentinel. After graduating from Maryville High School, she earned an academic and athletic scholarship to Pfeiffer University in North Carolina. As a student-athlete, she was a four-year starter and captain for the women’s basketball team. She was key contributor to the 2006-2007 conference championship team , which earned a trip to the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament. Mathis was selected to serve as a representative for CHAMPS Life Skills, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Co-Chairman for Game Environment Committee. She graduated from Pfeiffer in May 2009, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management and minor in Business Administration. Since graduation, Mathis worked as an Administrative and Select Girls Basketball Camp intern during the summer of 2009 for the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. She keeping a busy schedule volunteering with the Athletic Marketing Game Day Crew at the University of Tennessee and is the Assistant Girl’s Basketball Coach at Knoxville Catholic High School. When asked about her new position, Kelly said, “I’m extremely honored to be able to remain in the field of athletics after graduating and very excited to join the outstanding team at Next Level Training”.
